Our next General Meeting is Monday 21 February at 0930hrs which is our AGM.. This is an important meeting as nominated members are appointed to the Board of Directors and to other duties of responsibility. Your attendance will be appreciated. Following the meeting we will have Morning Tea followed by a documentary movie then Lunch. Member Michael Makin will give a presentation on his duties and responsibilities whilst in the RAAF in the Afghanistan theatre.

Members, the Board is in the process of planning for ANZAC Day, and we would appreciate nominations to assist. Our marathon runner Ms Sally Cameron will again commence her run from our Cenotaph after the Dawn Service, and proceed through to Tweed Heads. Sally does this run every year to raise funds for our Sub Branch. Your attendance to cheer her off will be appreciated.

Members, Bus trips are in doubt due to the Covid -19 situation but, I will endeavour to arrange a short tour, if possible. Should that be not so, then we will have documentary movie luncheons at general meetings at least twice a year. These costs are subsidised as part of our welfare program.

Our Saturday Meat Tray Raffles are well attended by both members and our ladies group and, should you wish to join us roll up to the Seagulls Club between 1130hrs to 1330hrs. (You may win a meat tray..!!).

As always should you know of a member who requires assistance, please contact our office on 07 5537 4114, or if you should require my services in relation to RSL matters or JP duties, please just call.

Again, I remind you that should you require the services of the RSL Board member or the duties of a JP, my door is always open. Please call for an appointment.
